V3.22rc1 or higher (beta release, El Capitan only) Even if your interface is compatible, please check that your DAW and other software is compatible before upgrading. If your interface is not listed, it is no longer possible to develop new drivers for that product.Ĭurrent version (driver v3.00d8/firmware v2.03) is not compatible. It's more of a machine than my singers Apple Desktop. This page lists the current status of TASCAM interface drivers for Windows 10 and Mac OS X 10.11. I think my machine is plenty powerful enough for what I am doing. I have drums (all separate tracks) and I have bass one track and various guitar test tracks that I am comparing. I can't imagine I need more than that for a buffer. I had it set to 48k and 512 buffer and the 1024. This is Core i7 from 2012 and the machine is clean, no antivirus apps or anything else for that matter. SSD drive is boot drive and I have a hybrid 1T drive as my data drive for recording. It wouldn't hurt to post your computer info, operating system, and so on for more specific advice. A fresh re-install/restart with no other programs open might not hurt if you can't get it to work. 1) Do you have any other audio-capable programs open while Reaper is running? Music player, internet browser, midi player, Audacity, etc.? Reaper and ASIO sometimes don't play together well if there's other things going on.Ģ) Have you tried adjusting the buffer on your ASIO? You might have to find a sweet spot for your hardware and Reaper to work together too.
